Howl-o-ween Treat Basket

my pups new favorite!

My small dog (~15 lbs), Penny, loves this set!! I picked it up at the Bay Area Pet Fair because it was so unique and cute. As you can see in the pictures, the candies are removable and it can be fun to stuff them or other toys into the pumpkin and have your dog pull them out!

I was especially impressed of the care in the creation that was shown of these toys. I noticed that each of the candies has a different squeak sound. Since they are all also different shapes, Penny will alternate between playing with each of the candies depending on how she's feeling, and it doesn't give the feeling of playing with the same toy despite having come from the same set. In addition, the pumpkin is filled with crinkly material that is really fun for dogs to chew on!! Penny especially enjoys really light toys that she can easily pick up and fling around, so this set is perfect for her (and you basically get 4 toys in 1!!). Would definitely highly recommend this product!

We should've found out the sizing of the "candy treats" inside the pumpkin basket before buying because they were pretty small, a little too small for our large breed pups. They still enjoyed the pumpkin which held up pretty well but I donated the candy treat toys inside w/o letting them play with them for fear of choke hazard.

We got this for our dog Petal for a little Halloween treat but we had no idea how much she would love it. For some reason, she really loves taking the little candy squeaky toys out of the basket and then chewing them. She also had a great time chewing the actual pumpkin basket --- I think the crunchy quality was a difference that she really enjoys. (It's the same type material that's found in the corn toy on this site). Anyway, highly recommend it! And also, fetching is fun with these little squeaky candies. Especially for our 20 lb. Petal who has a small mouth. I think that might be why she likes chewing them so much. One note, she did destroy the squeaker in one of the candies right off the bat. But the rest of them are okay, even after lots of chewing.
